First hatch of the Black Willow Flys along the Tennessee River's backwater. As with most "bottom land" along the river you have crops of wheat and corn. The wheat offers shade and moisture for these fishbaits. As the millions of them hatch the bream, bass, and crappie gorge themselves and the Racoons enjoy the dessert as they swing from branches to enjoy a good breakfast. Fishing will be good for the next few days if you use a flyrod.
