On December 23rd, this pair of Bald Eagles lost the eggs they were sitting on. From then until today they have wandered the hillsides, spent time away from the nest and for the most part abandoning it. The female has had fish, duck, and other game during this time. Today they appear to be returning to their normal Winter schedule with the female working on improving the nest for a possible second try and the male watching from the perch tree or their mating limb nearby. Hopefully there will be eaglets in the next 40 days.
