The lake is now 17 feet down, which is normal for this time of the year as the lake is readied for the Winter/Spring rains which should over fill the 510 normal lake level. Unlike a river, this lake is subjected to river tributary filling as well as creek and multi-watershed run-off which is of a volume that would flood areas below the dam if not checked in the Spring months.
