A leafless, single stem, multi-bloom flower known locally as "Johnny-jump-up". Almost like instant maturity these flowers spring from the ground in early Fall and brighten lawns, yards, and woodland fields over night. While not the pansy version known as Johnny jumpup, this is a very colorful flower. Offically this flower is the Lycoris Radiata or Spiderlily.
