Now that the lake is about 8 ft down from normal lake level strolling along the shoreline and rip-rap...you can find real treasures. This evening I spotted this minature flag which came off some runabout out on the lake on July 4th's Day of celebration while waiting for the evenings fireworks. Most likelly the boater did not realize one of the boat's decorations has fallen in the water and floated in the current until it reach BeauxPoint"s shores. The flag has since been put in a place of honor here on the Point and to remind those here that it has a historic history leading men and women in the persuit of freedom, peace, and the joys of being a Republic.
