July 4th - Independence Day

Electing not to put up with one day of mass hesteria on the lake, we elected to stay in town and watch the town's fireworks from the second floor through 100 year old hand manufactured windows. Combined with the mist in the air, blowing breeze, defects in the windows, and using only a moderate fast shutter....the outcome of the photos are interesting rather than being just a documentation of an explosion burst. Maybe next year the 4th Holiday will be longer and the unexperienced boaters with their one time on the lake night experience will be in smaller numbers.
