As the Winter Snow clouds pass by the Point, and the sky clears for the final sunset, one of the many floating trees (which broke loose during high water) is driven by the wind by the old pier posts and just narrowly misses hitting the boat dock. When the Spring rains and South winds come in late March, it may visit the Point once again.
