At dusk the "sunny South" at the Point the snow came in one more time to greet "Mother Earth" with the beautifully formed snowflakes. These snapshots were taken about 9:45 PM with fine snow flakes still falling. Fortunately, the temp is 34 degrees f. with no wind so what is sticking to the trees and lines is damp and not freezing hard. By sun rise it will be interesting to see just how much more snow will be on the ground once the concrete/asphalt gets cold enough to not melt it.

The one over riding factor is just how beautiful the snow looks at night in the Moon light or house lights. The harshness of a "southern snow" will not be realized until the light of day.
