Especially when I'm using bounce flash, I've often wished I was shooting with a square format camera to save having to switch things around when I go from horizontal to vertical, or back again. In that respect, at least, life had to simpler for Hasselblad shooters when their cameras had the 2-1/4 square format.

Very nice gallery, Virginia. I had a medium format camera in film days that had a 6x6 square format. There were several brands sold back then.
