Hawk Hill & The GGNRA

GGNRA: Marin Headlands & Fort Baker

The fog sets in for the planned event and hawk migration viewing is obscured. When I ask where the hawks go in the fog, I am told they are there but you just can't see them. As the fog comes and goes, we see brief glimpse of hawks over the fog, sometimes together, but often in groups of six or more.

I like this shot. It's an interesting composition on a number of levels. Plus I'm alwasy a sucker for shots taken in the fog. :)
