I wondered why this red-tailed hawk was peering at the ground.
Sudden the hawk drove down and emerged on the pole, vole in claw.

Well done! You have to wonder how extreme a raptors eyesight is! On a breezy day, how could it ever see the slight movement of a vole in the weeds.
