I was going back and forth debating which one I liked best -- this one or the previous one. I can't decide. I love how you kept that green triangle from the roof in the photo. But I'm wondering if perhaps you should crop this as a portrait orientation so that it gets rid of some of the empty space and keeps my eye in the photo -- my eye follows the hawk's gaze to the left and I never look in the right half of the photo. Still, great shot!
It's a beauty. Don't know how you got it to stay still. We mainly see them alongside I-5 where they are watching the fields for prey. If we stop they are gone before we can get fully stopped. I am a frustrated hawk photographer
