I live in the USA now and have traveled all my life but my favorite city worldwide is Paris. There is no other city that can compare to Paris! As to the Auguste tower base - I have seen it - and the tour guide painted a great picture about the medieval start about the Louvre. You will not only get educated but a lot of goose bumps - it feels like being a part of it. I wish for you, the reader, you will get a chance to visit Paris.
