I love Père Lachaise but it also freaks me out.
My first trip here, I was in awe of the place, it’s statuary & mausoleums, but some of the broken glass & the half-opened crypt lids
(you can’t see anything down there) I found to be creepy, but in a good way, like a great Halloween flick.
However, the cemetery is rendered as a peaceful place when enjoying it with another person.
