Rue Cloche Perce is one of those types of streets in Paris that I love - one that has stairs as part of its makeup.
I had noticed it during my April 2003 trip one night when I had cut through the rue des Barres, through Place Baudoyer & along the rue de Rivoli on my way back to my hotel in the Marais.
People were seated behind the iron trellis that acted as entrance to the upper terrace part having dinner; the place seemed busy with happy Parisians.
This trip I vowed to return to check it out in full during the daytime when there'd be few people as I didn't wish to disturb anyone during their dinner by taking photos.
This photo shows rue Cloche Perce from the rue du Roi de Sicile viewpoint.
