Jerry's Lee Ho Market

600 S. Meyer St.

Opened Valentine's Day 1912, the day of Arizona Statehood, it was the first general store in Tucson and one of many Chinese markets in town. Jerry's remained open in the barrio neighborhood until 2002. It was all boarded up with no signs of life on the day of our visit.
Maybe someone knows if plans to incorporate it into a larger neighborhood grocery store have a chance to save it.

other sizes: small medium original auto
