When I first moved to Tucson in 1948, I lived just off of Alvernon and Pima. This Sanctuary near the corner of Speedway and Country Club was the last school bus stop. My brother and I had to walk the rest of the way home. No pavement past Country Club and no houses. I love looking at all your pictures. Thanks for keeping them on the Internet. I have shared them with other friends and relatives.
