Built in 1908 as the first high school for Tucson (and now called Roskruge Bilingual Middle School). Architects involved in its design changes were Henry Jaastad in 1919 and Roy Place in 1931.
The local paper said a favorite cheer for the new school was "Chee-he, chee ha, Chee-ha-ha-ha, Tucson High School, rah, rah, rah."
