This photo was taken from the road leading up to Torrey Pines State Natural Preserve. Looking straight ahead you can see the Pacific Ocean and the world famous Coastal Highway built in the 1930's.
The Torrey Pine is the rarest native pine in the United States and this area is full of them with many hiking trails to explore their habitat.
