The USS Midway served an illustrious career being the first Navy aircraft commissioned at the end of WWII on 10 September 1945. She served in Vietnam and in Operation Desert Storm. She was decommissioned in 1992 and brought to San Diego where today you can take a tour of the ship and learn about aviation and aircraft carrier history from veterans.
