South Africa Animals in Kruger National Park

The Kruger National Park is the largest game reserve in South Africa and one of the world’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries. It is approximately the same size and shape as Israel or Wales and covers 20,720 square kilometers.(thats about 8,000 square miles) It extends 350 km from north to south and 60 km from east to west.
1,982 species of plants, 517 species of birds, 120 species of reptile, 52 species of fish, 147 species of mammals and 35 species of amphibians call Kruger home.
