Damn I miss this bike.

- professionally painted from faded red to a metallic charcoal silver. The paint is flawless with no chipping or scratches and shines beautifully in the sunlight.
- Honda VTX headlight assembly
- Honda VTX rear shocks (lowers the bike a few inches. I also lowered the front forks to match the ride height)
- Reupholstered seat with a matching tank bib
- Highway Hawk H-square bars with Kuryakyn grips 1"
- VTX switches and master cylinders

In the past 750 miles I have removed the carb assemblies for extensive cleaning of the jets, bowls and intake. New air filter, new thermostat, coolant flush, spark plugs and ignition cables, flasher relay and horn. Has current inspection tags and runs extremely well.

The bad: The bike is 18 years old so there are some items I just can't help:
- the needle for the speedometer broke in half
- only when warm the engine intermittently has difficulty idling unless the choke is pulled all the way. (hasn't been an issue, though, the entire summer)
- I recently had the fork seals replaced, but the tech did not replace the dust seals that cover them.
- I bumped the bike against my wife's Ninja's handlebars which put a very small dimple in the gas tank. Can easily be massaged out by a paint&dent removal guy for about $20. no paint damage at all.
- That's about it.

I ride this bike to work almost daily switching between this one and my '02 Meanstreak. I love them both but can only keep one as being a grownup requires doing responsible things with my money like work on my back yard and lawn. I will miss this bike GREATLY. I have invested quite a bit of time and money reviving this bike from its original state to its current condition.
