Yummy bite.

Pleasing and inviting. How did you manage such great DOF at f/2.8 and that subject camera distance?

Looks great but why is it called "Hollands"?

I would definitely like to try some... Isn't it funny how a common food in one country is thought of as unique in another.

This is a wonderful photo. There is so much to see! Love the meatpie in the foreground and the colors and light across the table. V

Not sure what it is but it looks good and sure don't know what HP sauce is.

Looks delicious!

I'm not used to the culture of eating pie even living now in a Pie country!
I like your composition
Linda Willets08-Sep-2009 00:42
Like a pot pie maybe?
Jola Dziubinska08-Sep-2009 00:06
Neat shot, nice pov.

A classic! And by the looks of it, a big mug of tea and buttered white bread! How more English can you get! Wonderful photo, Bernard - so much more evocative of what people really eat...

Is HP Sauce similar to A-1 Sauce?
Looks like a yummy meal!
Mairéad07-Sep-2009 21:08
Mmmmm - looks like meat and potatoe pie! Nice shot.
Dave Perez07-Sep-2009 21:04
This looks like some sort of a meat pie with brown sauce. I wish I could have a taste!

The ubiquitious HP sauce. Found in all the best kitchens. Nothing like cheese on toast and and some HP on the side.
Walter Otto Koenig07-Sep-2009 19:50
HP sauce is always available in our kitchen. I like this shot Bernard. You've cut into the pie and it looks like it's bleeding HP sauce. LOL.

Gr8 perspective. Shepherd's pie???

HP has been around for so long, yet I've never tasted it. Some days a pie is better than any gourmet meal !!
