3-Horizontal/Vertical

The Erie Canal Floodgates in Pittsford, NY

I know that many of you have seen these floodgates in a previous
challenge gallery but they intrigue me with their size, shape and
colors. I hope I never see them being put to use, however.

we have a similar design on a back waterway near here but it's not near and nice looking.. nice use of the gates!
