30 Days of November - "My Phone" and Day 7 of My Personal 30 Days in Manual Mode Challenge!

I recently changed jobs and this is a picture of the phone
that sits on my desk. 50 buttons and a dial! Yes, it's
complicated. Fortunately, I don't have any phone responsibility
yet as I've been overwhelmed when the switchboard contacts me.
Can't I just use my simple little cell phone (it's not a smartphone)?

Interesting with all the buttons - we have a similar one and hardly use them all

That does have a lot going on! The monotone works well.

My phone is similar but has to be programmed from the mother of the phones or whatever you call it. Great capture of this work phone. Love the monotone.

This reminds me of a job I used to have where I was required to occasionally fill in for the office receptionist when she went on lunch break. All those lines to keep track of! It was not a pleasant task. :P

Looks like a mini switchboard.

That would do my head in.

it looks indeed like an executive telephone...I do understand you feelings of overwheliming

I just wish I had an office phone and then I know I was working. I'm sure you will catch on!

Ugh, I hate a lot of buttons. How intimidating! LOL

Yikes! I'd panic too- I always loose people when I have to transfer calls :(

I'm glad you still remember how to use a land line.
I'll never give up my land line, especially now that Connecticut found out that 4 hours after our massive power failures many cell towers ran out of battery power.

That's a lot of buttons, but you will use only a few of them, probably.

I remember the first video recorder...plug it in and it worked...now 60 pages of instructions in 20 different languages with 5 options...I hate buttons too :)))

You'll have this phone figured out in the blink of an eye! :))

At my last job I had a phone like that ---- it intimidated the hell out of me. I never did grasp everything is was supposed to do. IMO, simple is always better. Very attractive photo..... like the sepia toning
