Brave Firefighters

June Challenge: Urban and Landscapes

Victor, NY

This looks worse than it is. It actually
is a controlled burn. The owners are allowing
the fire company to burn it down as a practice.
Notice the cups next to the men. Morning coffee!

Oh and this fire company consists of volunteers.
No paid people.

Nice action shot, properly exposed for what could be a difficult lighting.
Good reflections in the water.
I kept looking for the Cops next to the Fireman, then realized you wrote Cups!
In Hamden we have both City and Volunteer Fire Companies.
The Volunteer Fireman put on the July Fourth Fireworks.
Most of your photos are of Victor, is your town less interesting?
