Grocery Shopping

May Challenge: Memories

As a teen, I worked as a cashier at what was once, Star Market.
I spent many, many hours there. Once I married,
I discovered that I wasn't keen on grocery shopping each week and
preferred to do it as seldom as possible
(with the exception of buying produce for which I prefer "fresh").
My dear husband has stepped up to the plate and now does it weekly.

Oh, for those wondering, I made this note board out of a mouse trap.

I love the mouse trap holder and great memory tale. We keep our list in and Apache burden basket by the front door.

My husband and I "team" shop. We divide and conquer! He does the produce and I do the meat, etc. I just love this mousetrap note holder you made! Clever! V

a very creative idea to reuse a mousetrap in this way, I think you wanted to make a broccoli tart. V

Good memory of cashiering, shopping, then not shopping as much.
You brought out a memory of mine.
We shopped as a team. My wife looked at Meats, Vegetables, Pasta, and other items that require thought and planning. I shopped for Bread, Milk, Orange Juice, Cat food, and the other "no brainers." We'd meet at the registers in about equal time. That got us out of the store in half the time!
