May Challenge: Memories

My family used to go to a cabin in the Adirondack Mountains when I was young. One of my father's cousins loved nature and always taught us various things about our surroundings. One lesson was about the different pine trees. That night we had a little show-n-tell demonstration for the adults showing them examples of twigs and telling them what they were. Unfortunately, this lesson didn't stay with me very well. I think this might be a fir or maybe it's a spruce...
