What is this?

April Scavenge Hunt Challenge: Surprising

It's surprising for many reasons: (1) The brakes failed in my car yesterday after taking the Camouflage shot (no injury to me, others or other property, Thank the Good Lord!) and I'm in the post-adrenalin exhaustion phase and didn't have the energy to look for a photo op AND (2) I didn't expect us to get any snow after having 80 degree weather last week (silly me, I forget that this is Upstate New York!).

What really matters is that you are ok.

Glad you are safe!
There's one thing you can't depend on... and that's the weather!

Looks like hail to me as well. Good example of surprise. The texture of the wood with knots makes the shot eye catching.

Lucky you. To get a surprising shot like that after a nasty surprise like that. Glad you're OK.

I'm glad to hear you are fine and nobody got hurt. The unexpected snow was a nice surprise but I hope the sun is shinning again.

As long as its tiny like this it's not too bad. Good choice for surprising.
Kerry Tingley10-Apr-2010 01:52
It looks like Klamath Falls! We have crazy weather like this all the time.
