Taken in Huntsville, Utah. While the overall composition is not particularly good here, few times does one get to see this beautiful tail outstretched like this with the sun reflecting on it so well.

love your photo. i believe the oil gland that is used in preening to condition feathers is at this exact location where the hawk has its beak. -kyle iohale.blogspot.com
