Located outside of Deadwood, South Dakota this larger than life bronze sculpture features 14 bison pursued by 3 Native American horseback riders toward a buffalo jump. A buffalo jump is a cliff formation historically used to kill plains bison by herding the bison and driving them over the cliff.
