The upper trail to Packwood lake is open with up to about 3 feet of snow on the trail on top of the hump. Major windfalls were cleared along the lake to the wilderness boundary. The lower pipeline trail is officially closed due to a slide but hikers and ATV'ers are using it. There is a bypass around the slide area.
