Brian, this is a great collection of wildlife pictures from a place where I spent much of my childhood fishing every weekend. Me and my friends would bike ride from westbury all the way to twin lakes every spring and summer weekend. I have not see these lakes in over 20 years and it is great to see them and the wildlife that lives there again. Keep up the good work.

These pictures are fabulous. You did a great job capturing the birds doing their thing... :-) I love the cardinal pictures... beautiful!

I agree with what you said about the redwing blackbird. Very noisy critter. We get thousands of them migrating through Texas and they cause a ruckus!

Hello Brian,
This gallery has certainly brought back some memories for me. I grew up in Wantagh and spent every spare minute fishing these lakes as well as Mill Pond and Forest City lake. As Barry said below, I am glad that the wildlife appear to be doing very well and the lake looks more beautiful than ever.

Brian, you have turned my clocks back 40 years. As kids we used to bicycle to Twin Lakes from North Bellmore to explore and play in the woods. I am delighted to know that today these lakes support wildlife. Maybe they did back then, quite honestly i do not remember, or perhaps we too intent upon our fun. Thanks for the ride. Barry
