If you want to take pictures of poverty in India it is not difficult. I did not go in that direction
with my pictures during my month long trip there. But our car stopped in traffic on this morning
and this was the scene outside of my window and it was intriguing. The boy on the left is
cracking up a coconut on the sidewalk with a lug wrench (tire iron) while a girl watches.
And then there is the naked child asleep on the walk in front of them.
Aside from the other boy on the right there were no other people nearby.
The site is littered with urban debris and weeds.
A bit of a story that you can only guess at.
