Lockwood House: Built by the Army to serve as the Armory Paymaster's (Edward Lucas) residence for
the armory and arsenal at Harper's Ferry. It later served, among other functions, as a Civil War
hospital for Union soldiers, a Union garrison headquarters, and Storer College, a school for
formerly enslaved men and women.
Sits just at the top of Harper Cemetery.
