Snails to eat and to sell for food. The brown snails are likely brown garden snails,
also called European brown snail, Cornu aspersum. This plant feeder has been taken
into many parts of the world as a food delicacy, and accidentally by the movement of plants.
The stripped snails may either (or both) be common and widespread Cepaea nemoralis,
the brown-lipped snail and C. hortensis, the white-lipped snail. Probably shouldn't
do snail identifications through a plastic bag and a lot of snail poop!
