The AM trip started out without too much hope due to surprize showers. A thunderstorm was sitting just to our west the entire time and the lightning display was more exciting than the snoozing humpbacks. We found a flipper slapper, and when we got closer, she and 2 of her friends came over to the boat and spent some time hanging out. One seemed to like rolling on her back and just floating upside down by the boat.
The PM trip saw the return of sunny skies and we found many whales kick feeding, coming to the surface with open mouths. The trip ended with us being held hostage by a group that was feeding all around the boat.
