Saturday May 21, 2016 saw the first public flight of the Aerodrome's Spirit of ST Louis replica. While the weather wasn't the greatest for photos with solid overcast at least it didn't rain. The aircraft flew flawlessly and project director Ken Cassens did his usual great job of demonstrating her flight characteristics. I'm looking forward to photos of her with blue skies later this season. They also flew a variety of other aircraft for the event.
