The morning trip was dull, foggy, cloudy and only a few whales just hanging around. The afternoon trip was much better, the skies cleared and the fog lifted to a haze. The winds were increasing which led to my expectations of some breaching. We found Trident's 2006 calf who demonstrated every known breaching activity, full spinning head breaches, tail breaches, pull breaches and chin breaches, along with some flipper slapping and inverted tail lobs. A couple of breaches, he almost got completely clear of the water.
