After a less than great year in 2007, open mouth surface feeding is back. The afternoon trip was very good, but it was odd in that none of the 4 boat companies made morning trips. The middle day of a 3 day weekend is usually the busiest, last year the same day was packed. Hope it's not a sign of the way things will be this season, I need to maximize MY resources by doing two trips per day.
Lots of kick feeding, surface lunges and bird activity stretched out over several miles.
