The Sausal Wine Route begins in Leibnitz, leads through the Sausal wine-growing regions through the Sulm Valley, branches off the B74 federal road in Fresing and continues to Kitzeck. Of all the Styrian wine routes, the route near Kitzeck has a special appeal with steep vineyards and great views of the countryside. Head south on the Demmerkogel over the Sausalerberg to Maierhof in the Sulm Valley, where the Sausal Wine Route ends.
