Eduard Strauss was, alongside Josef Strauss, the second brother of Johann Strauss II. He was also a talented composer.
His grandson, Eduard, is also buried in the same honorary grave with the same name.

The most talented of the three brothers, however, was Johann Strauss II.
His music is also the most frequently performed.
