Die röm.-kath. Bergkirche Eisenstadt wird auch als Haydnkirche oder Kalvarienbergkirche genannt.Haydn hat unweit im Schloss Esterházy große Teile seines Lebens als Komponist und Kapellmeister gewirkt. Seit dem Jahr 1932 befindet sich in der Bergkirche das Haydn-Mausoleum, in dem der Sarg des Komponisten Joseph Haydn steht.

The Roman Catholic Bergkirche (Mountain Church) in Eisenstadt is also known as the Haydn Church or Calvary Church. Haydn spent much of his life as a composer and Kapellmeister at nearby Esterházy Palace. Since 1932, the Haydn Mausoleum, containing the coffin of composer Joseph Haydn, has been located in the Bergkirche.
