The Galgenberg (gallows hill) is a small hill,about 50 m;150 ft high,located in the northern part of Lower Austria,in the plains of Laa,near the border of Czechy.Centuries ago gallows stood on the hill,now there are cellars around the hill and excellent wine in it.The top of the old churchtower of Wildenduernbach is now on the hill instead of gallows.Regulary folks come from all sides to make cheerful parties there.
