Fidra and the Moon

East Lothian

My evening walk with Mack at Yellowcraig Beach lasted a bit longer than planned.
On the way back to the car, the moon came out and then the lighthouse on Fidra started to flash.
I managed to get one exposure with the lighthouse flashing.
It is a bit fuzzy but then it was a 20 second exposure...

I'd say this was a half-way decent shot (took my cues from your forum post . . LOL!) But really, I do . . . it has an Ansel Adams flavor (except that it's not B&W . .LOL!)and I think the moon's reflection adds a neat touch . . pretty classy considering you hadda hold STILL for 20 sec!

Thats a neat concept. A natural nighttime beacon and a manmade. Good capture.
