Sakana Nabe

Adelaide, Australia

Our move to Adelaide and starting work at new jobs has been very busy and demanding.
So far I have had much less time to consider photography and PAD.
And my new company website blocks access to PBase so my opportunity to comment is much reduced compared to when I worked from home in Japan.
However, things are slowly getting to a new equilibrium and I hope soon to be able to make daily updates again.
And Mika and I are finding new food shops so we can more easily recreate out favourite Japanese foods in Australia.

I doubt that your company has singled out PBase for blockage. It's just not large enough any more for most companies to target, being more commonly known as "Pwhat?". Even Flickr isn't what it was size-wise. However I know that PBase is on a number of "blacklist for sale" lists that some aggregators sell to other companies. It's the flip side of PBase's largely moderation-free policy.
I'm glad that you found some Japanese food stores, because Scottish ones can be hard to come by in Australia in general and Adelaide in particular. (Haggis is hard to get. Porridge is easy. Skirlie-Mirlie is DIY, though I admit that I can't remember the last time I had it. Now that winter is coming again, though...)
