I believe that you need to upgrade to the newer OM Systems OM1 to utilise the "Lock onto face behind fully reflected helmet visor" mode. It does come with the caution that "Since this mode is most effective in the vacuum of space, your bodily organs may freeze, boil or explode (depending on your position relative to the sun) before you can depress the shutter, so please ensure that you have the mode assigned to one of your Quick Menu buttons."
