Our holiday challenge completed.
A 1000 piece jigsaw of an Edo period map of Tokyo.
With modern day metro lines superimposed, so at least I had some idea...

In my youth when we first came to Canada, there was no TV and in the winter we would hold up in our cozy little house doing jigsaw puzzles and a lot of reading. I remember those times fondly each time I see a jigsaw puzzle.Mind you, none of the puzzles would have been as difficult as the one in your photograph. V

a fitting project...I miss the jigsaws my son had as a lad...30 or so pieces, and a picture of a race car or a teddy bear..
