In theory everything is better done on screen. In reality I've never found a planning tool that has the flexibility of pen and paper even though my writing has devolved to the same level of borderline legibility as yours. And there is something viscerally satisfying about physically crossing out a task rather than just ticking a "completed" checkbox.
