Here we are again, a year closer to extinction of our species.
It has been a dull end to the year and the sun didn't even bother to make an appearance, although this ever hopeful fisherman did.
Photographically it has been a year of trial and effort. I have changed, and changed again, cameras several times; never quite deciding what is best for me.
In terms of IQ, the A7R was clearly the winner but it is still too bulky to carry as an everyday camera.
Looking back over the year, my favourite picture was taken with a GX8 but it is of my daughter, and the reason I like it has nothing to do with the camera. It was too much of a compromise between IQ and size.
I think the most fun camera to use was the E-P5: it is small, light and good for candids. But the IQ is not quite there. Still, I regret selling mine. Perhaps a re-buy is in order.
So, I hope you had a photographically enjoyable fun 2015, and I wish you all the best for 2016.
And last year was no parking.
